Sunday night of May 2 around 7:55 p.m. Los Angeles Police was called to the area of Wilmington neighborhood, at Lomita Boulevard and Van Tress Avenue where a crash collision between a vehicle and motorcycle left a man dead.
Sgt. Miguel Arana of the South Traffic Division said that the motorcyclist was heading eastbound of Lomita when it collided with a vehicle that made a left turn onto southbound Van Tress from westbound Lomita. The motorcyclist was thrown off his bike and found dead on the spot. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and waited for the police to arrive.
Further information about the motorcyclist is still under investigation along with the cause of the collision.
