A hit and run occurred Monday, June 22 on the 91 Freeway in Riverside County where sparks were flying from a Honda Odyssey as a motorcycle was stuck in the front bumper.
California Highway patrol officials state the Odyssey driver struck the rear of the motorcycle, Honda CBR, on the freeway in Corona and sped away with the motorcycle still stuck in the front. Witnesses exited the freeway and found his motorcycle on the side of the road. The motorcyclist has minor scrapes, bruises, and is able to walk.
The suspect, 25 year old George Valentin, was arrested after abandoning the Honda Odyssey in a field, crashing into a fence, and attempting to flee the scene.
