The Orange Fire Department reported that a fire erupted just before 12:45 p.m. at Earlham street, 200 Block located near South Esplanade street and East Chapman Avenue.
Downed power lines resulted in a fire car and the flames began to spread fast to at least two homes in the area. The Orange FD crew were up against 90-degree heat and low humidity making it difficult to extinguish the fire. The cause of the incident is under investigation and arson investigators and Orange PD are also at the scene.
