May 8, 2020 – The California Highway patrol reported a collision on the 210 Freeway, near Hubbard Street in the Sylmar area late Thursday evening.
A pedestrian was struck and killed on the eastbound side of the freeway. According to reports, it seemed that the person was hit by more than one vehicle. Both eastbound and westbound lanes of the freeway were closed due to amount of debris on both sides.
Full closure of the freeway lasted for almost four hours.
The cause of the collision and circumstances of the incident are still under investigation.
